YARDLEY FARMERS' MARKET
About
Our Farmers' Market
It all started in spring of 2015 when two friends, who love their little town of Yardley Borough and had a passion for fresh, local food, decided to start a Saturday morning Farmers’ Market in Buttonwood Park, in beautiful Yardley Borough, Bucks County, PA. We focused on providing a great mix of vendors so that customers can come and buy most of what they need for the entire meal - with a sprinkling of natural body products & something for the pets (in summer).
As that first summer progressed we were sad to think of going through the winter months without seeing the friends we had made and the awesome food we loved. So… we found a perfect location for an Indoor Winter Market, the historic Yardley Friends Meeting, Yardley Borough, and our year-round Farmers' Market was born. We have since outgrown that space and have moved to the Lower Makefield Community Center.
From the beginning, Yardley Farmers’ Market has been a labor of love operated completely by Volunteers with the full support and cooperation of the local Businesses, Community and Yardley Borough Council - we couldn’t exist without them.
We have also come to love our vendors and truly appreciate the work and effort that each of them puts into preparing for and setting up at the Market each week. They are all passionate about their farms and businesses and the care they put into their farming techniques, animal husbandry, food and product preparation is inspiring.
So please visit the Market, talk to the Vendors (often the business owner themselves) and see for yourself!

While you’re there, stop by and say hi!
Sincerely,
Don & Sue, Co-Managers
(And no, we are not married)
